Spodsbjerg is an old fishing town where in 1994 there was built a yacht harbour with 180 berths. From the ferry harbour next to there are frequent sailings to Lolland. We are in a small community including a grocer and a hotel. The cafeteria is situated at the ferry harbour and has a fine view of the departures and arrivals of the ferries. To those who feel like games and competitions there is a mini-golf course at the camping site. If you prefer a child-friendly beach this can be found a little south of the town. Fishing and Spodsbjerg are naturally connected. It is also here in Langeland Belt that you will find one of the best fishing areas. If, however, you are unlucky not to catch anything here, a 20,000 sq.m. Put and Take lake has been established just north of harbour. And if you lose your bait there is a large selection available at the nearby specialist shops. A very special service is the free bus between Spodsbjerg and Rudkøbing that has several daily departures all the year round. Its route passes through many of the areas villages.
